- Engine Immobilizer: When the Cyclone system is armed,
the motorcycle cannot be started, even with the key in the ignition.
Cyclone utilizes a 20 amp relay to prevent the engine from
starting. The relay is built into the main alarm system housing
unit for maximum compactness and easy installation.
- Ignition Trigger Sensor: When the Cyclone system is armed, and
the ignition is turned to the ON position, the siren will
immediately sound.
- Dual-Stage Shock Sensor: Cyclone utilizes a sophisticated shock
sensor. Unlike many of our competitors, we use a dual-stage
shock sensor: one for detecting light shock and another for
detecting hard shock. The light shock sensor is completely
adjustable and will only trigger warning chirps to prevent
further tampering. The hard shock sensor, is for detecting heavy
impact to the motorcycle and triggers the full-stage siren. The
hard shock sensor is also fully adjustable.
- Dual-Axis Tilt Sensor: In addition to the shock sensors, the
Cyclone 866F utilizes a dual-axis tilt sensor to detect change
in inclination from side to side or front to back. Unlike some
alarm system manufactures who utilizes technology from the
1970?s (mercury switch), Cyclone utilizes a digital device to
detect changes in tilt. Our tilt sensor is so sensitive it can
detect a change of 3 degrees or more.
- World's Smallest Motorcycle Alarm System: The Cyclone 866F is
no larger than a pack of cigarettes, yet contains all of the
best features known to prevent motorcycle theft. Obviously,
compact size is a necessity when considering the limited space
available for concealing an alarm system on a modern motorcycle.

alarm system.
- Limited Lifetime Warranty: Cyclone is the ONLY motorcycle alarm
system in the United States which offers a limited lifetime
warranty. The quality of each component put into the Cyclone
866F, combined with sophisticated engineering practices and
quality control, allows us to offer the only lifetime warranty.
Our warranty covers all components of the Cyclone 866F, except
the internal back-up battery which is covered by a one year
warranty, against defect and malfunction.
- Internal Back-up Battery: The Cyclone 866F motorcycle alarm
system has a built-in back-up battery, meeting the requirements
of most insurance company policy discounts for having a security
device. Unlike one of our competitors which claims to use a
back-up battery but only uses a capacitor, Cyclone utilizes a
Ni-MH battery which is capable of blasting the full-stage siren
for up to 2 continuous hours if power is ever cut or disconnected.
- Built-In 120 dB Piezo Siren: To save space, Cyclone engineers
utilized a 120 dB Piezo siren, which is built into the main
alarm housing unit. Also, Cyclone engineers turned the decibels
down to 110 to eliminate annoying arm and disarm chirps.
- All Black Wiring Harness: An all black harness has a better
appearance than a multi-colored wiring harness.
Just a few of the many other features Cyclone has to offer:
- Manual Disarm (secret code): This feature allows the owner to disarm the Cyclone 866F alarm system manually, if you should ever lose your remote, using the secret ignition code. The secret ignition code can also be changed.
- Sleep/Valet Mode: This function is used to reduce power consumption and is ideal for long-term storage of the motorcycle or when you take your motorcycle into the repair shop.
- Silent Mode: The owner can turn the siren off, yet the alarm system will still operate as normal: locking the engine and sending silent notification to the owner when the system is trigger if the optional paging system has been installed.
- Sector Bi-Pass System (SBS): SBS prevents the Cyclone 866F from becoming a noise nuisance. If the alarm system is triggered ON and OFF five times, and the owner never responds by disarming the system, Cyclone will shut itself off to avoid becoming a nuisance. This feature can be disabled.
- Selectable Sensors: Arm the system to utilizes shock sensor or tilt sensor individually, or use both tilt and shock together. You can also turn off the full-stage shock sensor and use only the warning chirp sensor.
- Auto Arm: Arms 20s after ignition goes off and 30s after you disarm. Auto Arm cannot be disabled, but you can program which sensors are to be enabled.
- Siren Trigger memory: When disarmed, the system informs you with chirps and flashes if the siren went off in your absence.
